A letter to my Nation

My fellow countrymen, Life is hard these days Some of us are distanced from our loved ones Some are overcoming the pangs of separation when our loved ones left us for the heavenly abode. Some of us face the discrimination and attacks which comes without any roots. This virus might have sent jitters down on our spines. It might have shredded our organs and made it irresponsive. But there are things to be grateful too We have time like never before and this might not come ever again Hold those little fingers of your little ones that you have missed for a long time Talk with your senile parents who need your company as much as you do while you were young Listen to those crickets chatting Sing with the nightingales Greet those sparrows that visit your house Enjoy the scene of the setting sun when the sky is covered with pastels of lilac , orange and white. Yonder at the clouds that once amused you with its shapes. Play with your pets that seek your attention all the time. For some isn't this what you have always wanted? To be free from the clutches of your hectic schedule and find time for yourself. My dear friends, This fight is for all of us. This fight doesn't see caste, race , profession , religion, rich or poor. Hence, we need that only one element to fight back- our unity. Our roles in this fight are different but our goals are still the same. Promise us dear brothers and sisters, that you will join this fight and we shall come out from this nightmare set in a daydream successful. Burn those lies, hurl away all those rumours that try to build a wall between you and us . Raise your torch , you can see the path to the dell of truth. Remember you are worth to live You have gallant stories to tell to the future generations And don't forget We are just one call away Love, covid19 warriors
